Purity Of Youth, the latest video release from Chicago’s alt-pop band IVERSON, is a VHS safari into the lushest folds of syrupy childhood nostalgia and memory. The song was written as a care package to be delivered to IVERSON frontperson Charles Iverson's adolescent self, growing up while struggling deeply with mental illness. At the core, Purity Of Youth is a dream-like exploration of childhood, aging, and the crushing movement of time we all face; all through the dusty lens of a VHS camcorder.
